About Jonathan Hoskins Artist

​

I retired to Gabriola Island, British Columbia in 2018, following a 40 year career managing health and human services.  From 1981 I conducted planning, performance measurement and evaluation, and contract management for governments (Seattle, King County), a community college, regional foundations and non-profits.

 

I became  an expert in data and performance graphics and  data .  I have created and/or supervised the creation of 1000s of visual presentations of statistics, performance graphics, annual reports, and performance dashboards for politicians, stakeholders, conferences and the public. 

 

Outside of work, I have been interested in printmaking for over 3 decades. In 2002, I began creating water based monoprints and some watercolor paintings. Since moving to British Columbia I have become committed to pursuing professional excellence in visual arts;  and making the results available to the public.  I am now branching out into acrylics, and multi-media abstract  techniques.

I participate in numerous Vancouver Island Art Exhibitions and am a member of the Gabriola Island Fall Artists Studio tour.
